Greensboro - Marcus Brandon, candidate in N.C. House District 60, filed his mid-year fundraising report with a major bang this week. He reported more than 10k raised during the first reporting period. Brandon who filed in April is running against incumbent Earl Jones.
“I am both honored, and encouraged by this tremendous start. This will allow us to build the infrastructure we need to run a successful campaign. I know I have much work to do, in proving to the people of NC 60 that I have the best plan for our future, but the overwhelming response tells me that people understand we can no longer afford the status quo. And as my campaign states – It’s About You. “ said Brandon.
Brandon was also endorsed by, one of Greensboro’s most influential community leaders NAACP President Rev. Cardes Brown. Click here to watch Rev. Brown’s endorsement.
“It is an honor to have the blessing of someone like Rev. Brown”, said Brandon. “He has been a leader in the Greensboro community for many years, and his courageous commitment to stand with this campaign early speaks volumes. I am deeply humbled.”
